Genevieve Cortese-Padalecki Converse All Star shoes, size 7

What fans may not know about her is that she’s a hippy but sweet girl who has quite a collection of Converse shoes. And the good news is that Genevieve has put up one pair, the Cranberry Converse All-Star shoes with her signature on it for auction. The money will go to a charity that supports families and children in crisis. Well, that’s just another reason to love her!

Her husband, Supernatural star Jared Padalecki, also recently auctioned one autographed pair of Converse shoes for the same cause.

Newly added to our celebrities-who-loves-to-wear-Converse list is one of New Moon’s lead stars Taylor Lautner, also known as Jacob Black, the sweet and hottie member of New Moon wolf pack. I am not a fan but Taylor did pretty good in New Moon as oppose to what others say. I mean not just with the taking-of-shirt-off moments but I do think he can act.  I’ve seen him act in some movies and TV series before his New Moon break and I see it that he can act well.

Sounds teenager… Well, what else would catch our eyes aside from Taylor’s handsome looks in these photos? The black leather Converse All Star chucks he is wearing, of course!

Well, meet Joshua Mueller of Lakewood, Washington (USA). The guy holds the largest collection of Chuck Taylor shoes in the world with 680 unique pairs, as of March 3, 2007, making it to Guinness Book of World Records.

Joshua Mueller of Lakewood, Washington - started his collection in 1991 and now has near 1,000 pairs

Mueller, a professional Artist, started his collection of Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes in 1991 by getting a pair of Pine Green Low-Tops and continued acquiring more each year. A few months ago, Josh stated in his Flickr account (where he posts photos of his collection) that it’s 70 pairs away from 1,000. Wooow. He also stated that he never wear the same pair twice. Well looks like two pairs a day won’t make him wear ALL pairs within a year!

Josh Mueller was also featured in 2007 Ripley’s Belive It or Not! as one of the contestants with the most unbelievable story.
